How the table of contents is built
The preview scans the converted Markdown for ATX headings — lines that begin with one to six # characters — and builds a nested outline that mirrors the heading levels. Each entry links to its heading inside the preview, so a single click scrolls directly to that section. Documents without headings show a short notice instead of an empty panel, and the outline refreshes automatically whenever another file is converted, so it never falls out of sync with the output you are reviewing.
What this means for your workflow
Long contracts, reports, and ebooks can now be checked before download instead of after. Skipped heading levels, missing sections, and a footer wrongly promoted to a heading stand out in the outline at a glance. Combined with batch preview and the validation gate, you can confirm the outline health of an entire folder in seconds rather than reading each output line by line. Typical conversions still finish in 2–5 seconds per file. Feedback: sapsap@qq.com.
